AMS Notifier 5.08

The DeLaval AMS Notifier is designed to deliver alerts from your Voluntary Milking System (VMS) directly to your Android device via push notifications. Notifications are received promptly and are visible even when the app runs in the background.

Within the application, users can review a history of previous alerts, with up to 42 notifications stored for reference.

Silent Mode Options: The app allows customization of notification settings, enabling users to designate specific silent periods—such as between 22:00 and 06:00—to prevent less urgent alerts during designated quiet hours. It is important to note that critical alerts, such as stop alarms, will still be transmitted during these silent periods.

Notification Preferences: Users have the option to disable all push notifications entirely by unchecking the "Receive notifications" checkbox within the app settings.

Volume and Signal Configuration: The alert sound volume is managed through your device’s system settings under Settings > Sound & Vibration, specifically via the Ring & Notification volume control. Additionally, within Settings > App Notifications, ensure that the channel named AMS-notification-channel is set to Default order, which allows sounds and vibrations based on your phone's configuration. For optimal alert sounds, it is advisable to uninstall and then reinstall the AMS Notifier app to ensure proper audio functionality, particularly the characteristic ping or sonar sound.

Animal alerts configured in DelPro Software include:

• Cow traffic management—e.g., trap animal, animal remains in a zone too long

An active and stable internet connection utilizing DeLaval RFC (Remote Farm Connection) is necessary for receiving push notifications and accessing real-time alerts. Additionally, configuration settings within the SC/VC systems must be adjusted to enable notifications, a process that requires assistance from a certified DeLaval VMS Service Technician or other authorized DeLaval personnel.
